Kym, I have a consult with my friend on Nov. 5 when I will be eight days out from my Tummy Tuck. I will bring a wish list and at the top is breast lift. I might be able to get them squeezed in before I have to return from my one month leave which I am taking for the TT. I understand that breast work isn't particularly painful. Present company excluded. Marta

Guest guest
Hi, , sounds like you're doing great. Could you please summarize--beginning and end weight, how long ago you lost it, your age, etc? Enquiring minds want to know! (And, of course, before and after pics when available.) Naomi ***** > > hi everyone. ahile back i posted that i was going to get a tummy tuck. > well i did it. .. yesterday. i am bed ridden for one more day and have > a friend staying with me. ill be out of work for a week. i got the > tummy tuck because ive lost so much weight that i had extra skin that > couldnt be fixed with working out. right now im in a binder and have > only seen my new tummy in a polariod taken right after surgery when i > was still under. i didnt recognize myself! i said, wow thats me, my > tummy is totally flat. i feel sore but i have pain meds and my gf is > doing such a great job taking care of me. it isnt as bad as i had > imagined. just thought id let everyone know how i was going, even tho > its off topic. a couple of you had asked to know about my experiences. > i would reccomend this to anyone thatwas in my situation. at a weight > you like, but with extra skin on your tummy. its not a weight loss > tool. and the fact that i have been working out for so long with bfl is > going to really help my recovery. no muscle repair needed for me. just > skin that had to be removed. i even woke up post op and said im so glad > i did this. ) > cindy >
Guest guest
, Very happy for you! But, I suggest that you hold off on any summaries or announcements until you are recovered. 3 months or so. The swelling will go down, the stiches/scarring will be settled and you can make a true assessment of how you feel. Wearing that girdle thru the summer is not going to be fun. Good luck with that! Hoping for a speedy recovery for you. And, you might want to post your before/after pics to the group after you're satisified with the recovery.
