The problem here is that you are converting two different measurements. Gram is

a unit of mass; whereas cubic centimeter is a unit of volume. However, because

it is largely alcohol, you can assume that it has approximately the same

properties of water. This means that one cubic centimeter is almost a gram.

You are probably doing it the best way already by using a syringe. You are

dealing with such small units. A teaspoon would not do you any good. Make sure

that you keep the unused portion of the package in an airtight container as you

will lose all to evaporation.

Being exact is pointless since the rate of absorption of Testim similar

compounds is only 10%. That means 90% is going to waste. :-( Your skin should

be dried and oil-free to allow for better absorption (after a shower is best).

Please, read the adjunct prescribing literature for further information.

Also make sure that all packages, syringes and anything else that touches the

testosterone is properly disposed of. Children in contact with testosterone

will have undesired changes.

If you have more questions, your local pharmacy should provide you with better

instructions on how to measure your individual dosage. Pharmacist can give you

tips on conversions and what instruments to use.

By the way, men and women have both sets of hormones.

Hey yall my hormone Dr. has put me on a new regimin. Seems women can have low

testosterone as well. Anyway she gave me a script for Testim 1% jell with 30

5gm tubes. She wants me to take 1/2CC on my arm every morning. The problem is

I have no idea how I am supposed to measure this....do you just guess??? I

tried a syringe but it did not work. Any help you guys have would be

appreciated....
