Guest guest
Another thought on the child care. I know people don't often want to give their children to a stranger in a strange house some time, though really we're very friendly:). Maybe a few of us who can't go could watch other kids at a public place like a park near the events or a community gyms with open play hours, or there are museums or recreational facilities (trampolines/climbing gyms). I can't give money to the cause and my 1 year old is too much a mamma's boy to go to someone else, but I'd like to help out if I can. Deborah > > > > This is a cry from the weary. Guest guest
Deborah, I am also in Crystal! I have the same fears as you, that my 1-year-old struggles to hang around with daddy when I'm around--much less another person. My 4-year-old on the other hand, would have a blast hanging out with other kids. I would also be willing to meet at a public place, or at someone's home, and help out with childcare if someone was wanting to attend. I just don't think it would go well leaving my babe with someone he's never met.
Guest guest
I just wanted to throw this out there - from what I understand, children are welcome at this event. If entering the court room they will need some quiet games to keep them occupied - but I am planning on taking my kids, and I know other moms are planning to do so as well. I think having a presence of children is an awesome message to send! Especially children who are healthy and happy! Berry Teléfono: 612-483-1971 Amando pureza y simplicidad. Guest guest
And we have lots of cute rally signs for the little ones I am bringing my 4 & 2 year olds. They will roll and if they don't we'll hop out for a bit. But it will still be impact. Thanks for stepping forward in whatever capacity you can. Each mama knows her kids best -- and we each want to safeguard food freedom for their benefit. So yay for all doing the most we can!! . > > I just wanted to throw this out there - from what I understand, children > are welcome at this event.
