Guest guest
I suggest that they cut the funding for USDA in half, fire the harassment officers, keep the women of Organic Ag and allow the school systems to grow their own food. Lose the dietitians that do not know what real food is and use their savings to teach gardening and cooking to low income families. The farm bill needs to get out of the agri/subsidy business and get back to teaching small scale nutrient dense food production. We don't have a food shortage, but only an ambition shortage. Ron and reduced government supporters would have fun with this wasteland of mega-politics. Cut subsidies to factory farms, monoculture gmo soy and corn- ethanol production, etc to save the planet at the same time. There is my dime's worth. Alvin Here's a chance to speak up about the farm bill, nutrition, etc. Might be a great opportunity to share your views on the importance of supporting our local family farms in Minnesota.
