The Technocrats (of which I was one) were above politics (good work was rewarded poor work wasn't) until the end... when they decided that they didn't need people that knew what they were doing; just people that did what they were told... the management of the companies the do government contract (for the most part) have one goal to bleed the government for every penny they can and more... and deliver nothing usable in the end...
