The job I was talking about I really did loved for as long as they let me do it... It wasn't until they pissed off management that things got bad... Believe it or not I was employee of the month by my coworkers the month before I was "told" to resign...

Management can be a real pain. I never really had serious trouble on the job, but I knew they didn't like me as well as some of the other people.

Intelligence work was one of the options I wanted when I was going to enter the military, until a certain health issue derailed that. I've thought about going the civillian route, but since that's government stuff and I know how political (not in the Democrat and Republican sense but the bureacratic infighting sense) I haven't seriously persued it.

The Technocrats (of which I was one) were above politics (good work was

rewarded poor work wasn't) until the end... when they decided that they

didn't need people that knew what they were doing; just people that did

what they were told... the management of the companies the do government

contract (for the most part) have one goal to bleed the government for

every penny they can and more... and deliver nothing usable in the end...

Well they got what they asked for...
