When you can apply for Medicare

Hey ya'll. Is there still the 2 year waiting period to get on medicare when you

are diagnosed with AIDS??? If not what can I do to help get him into the

program. If not what can I do to help a friend get better care??? I have a

friend that is going to die if he continues going to the state appoined Dr's.

He is getting sicker and sicker and they seem to take there own sweet time in

getting his medications to him, seeing a dr, they will not seem to give him

proper pain medicatin (they seem to have god complexes or something)!!! I would

like hime to see a different dr but he doesnt have any isurance at the moment

and just got approved and awaiting his first disability check. I am at a loss

at what to do for him as his so called dr's really dont seem to give a shit and

are in no hurry as he is getting worse and waisting away!! If I could help him

get on Medicare we could at least choose the Dr. to go too.
