Guest guest
I had the rage thing for a while until I learned to control it but was always more of a passifist previously, so the rage was good in some cases where I had to yell at the drug companies to get my drugs to me on time---I found that in my rage I could be very persuasive, logical, and was able to agrue effectively, not just emotional rage. I then of course went overboard and became a monster, so was able to mentally go back to my normal self yet retain some good arguing skills, etc.ESheena <mom4possums2002@...> wrote: Besides the phone calls, I have gone pretty ballistic twice now, both times at the store and am not yet on treatment. My doc said woman get depressed and men get rage, but I am already having issues with the latter.. :-o Am not much of a depressed type person, that would be WAY out of context for me.. I am on no other meds, he will treat one side at a time, as need be.. I am hoping it doesn't get to that.. Guest guest
I don't know if I would call it rage, but when I was on treatment I didn't have patience (I like the way that Sharon put it) with what I percieved to be stupdity or incompetence. I own a wholesale nursery so we are not open to the general public, but I do have to take care of landscaper customers that come out to buy plants. I would get annoyed if they couldn't make up their mind, and felt like they were wasting my time. I never blew up in front of them, but sometimes I would just scream after they left. For the most part I was just quiet and didn't want to be bothered with anything that wasn't neccesary. Now that I am of treatment I am much more open and talkative. A couple of times since treatment, I've been talking and laughing and people that I work with have told me that they liked it better when I was on treatment and quiet because I won't shut up now. Part of it is that it is hard to be in a good mood when you have headaches and don't feel well, but he meds do mess with your brain chemistry. Sometimes I would feel like crying for no reason, and I would tear up during sad parts of movies, something that isn't normal for me. I didn't take anti-depressants and it never became a major issue for me, but these meds do mess with your head.
