Guest guest
So glad you got your baby goats. They are so cute!! I want a lamb but I live in the city now and they would frown upon that. LOL Interesting story. My ex son in law bought a goat to help keep his lawn shorn short. Goats do not like the type of grass he had. It ate all the weeds, but left the grass long and waving.LOL I told him to get a sheep, sheep will eat grass, and keep it lawn mower short. I really liked a 3 month old whether that has a black and tan head with blue eyes and and white legs. I knew I wanted him but wanted to bring home two. There were two 4 month old brothers that are pure white, one has blue eyes and the other has golden eyes. I didn't want to split them up and wasn't sure what to do. The woman who owned them said that I could have all three for the price of two, so I brought three home. When I got them back, we got them into the pen with Copper our 8 year old whether. They got along great, Copper was so lonely . There is a ramp and a platform in the pen and before long they were all playing King of the Hill. We named the white ones Goldy and Blanco and the little black and tan one Diablo. They are so cute and fun to watch, I spent most of the day watching them play.LeeTake the ordinary things of life, and make them your own. Guest guest
Its funny how picky they are. Mine won't eat fresh cut bermuda or ryegrass. They even get offended when their alfalfa hay isn't fresh or green enough. They love stale tortillas and mesquite beans. Lee > I went to look at the goats yesterday and came back with three.
