Guest guest
Hi Jussy-- This is an interesting hypothesis, but unfortunately not true. I had lots and lots of X-rays when both my lungs collapsed from PCP, and it didn't phase my virus one bit--it's still very much with me. I would suspect that in cases of large scale HIV testing you're going to get a proportion of false positives--especially in resource-limited settings where workers might not necessarily be well trained, etc. Jeff in Palm Springs. Guest guest
Other than that brief test onself do you have any scientific concrete evidence that xrays have no negative or positive impact on human body in this case patient with AIDS?Iam not HIV positive but have taken alot of strugle time and money on it .JussyFrom: rolyatffej@... <rolyatffej@...>Subject: Xrays & HIVjkweijagye@..., Date: Monday, May 25, 2009, 6:34 PMHi Jussy-- This is an interesting hypothesis, but unfortunately not true. They also may get cancers, some of which may be treated with X-ray therapy. In this "experiment of nature," I know of no evidence to suggest that anyone has ever observed problems with x-radiation in people with HIV, or any benefits, either. There will never be a study where people with HIV are given x-rays, "to see what happens." Given the possible harm of gamma radiation, that would be immoral, and given the lack of evidence, a waste of time.I don't know what your background is, but there is no reason to assume that x-radiation has anything to do with HIV, positive or negative, and I would invest your efforts somewhere else.JB
