Guest guest
For someone who is living in Canada as a Canadian, I am surprised that you failed to comment on the 17 terrorists arrested in Toronto who had planned a serious terrorist attack for June 6th. So you see, Ace, something sinister *was* planned for June 6th and it just happened that the plan was foiled. Raven > > Well June 6, 2006 has come and gone. The devil has not taken over the > world. Guest guest
You live in BC; I live in ON. You get your news from wherever; I get my news from closer wherever. You are going to believe whatever fits your ideas so there's no sense in providing you with proof, Ace. They had been under surveillance for 6 months, I think it was, and they were getting ready to attack but it was not that close. "
Guest guest
That's interesting reporting, . In the city where the majority of terrorists were arrested, it was reported that their leader -- who, btw, also happens to be their spiritual leader in the mosque -- was unrelenting in his verbal attacks against Canada during the 2 years leading up to the arrests, so I find it difficult to understand why the American media would claim this man and his followers were " so sweet butter wouldn't melt in their mouths and that they had no intention of hurting anyone. " That certainly isn't what has been reported in Southern Ontario. The spin outside of Ontario on this story is quite interesting to say the least. Raven wrote: " It wasn't reported here in the US that they were planning to attack on June 6. All we heard was that they had been arrested, were planning to launch a series of attack, that their leader bragged about his plans to behead the Prime Minister on live television, and that their imam swore up and down that those men were so sweet butter wouldn't melt in their mouths and that they had no intention of hurting anyone.
