I agree on the gloriousness of yesterday, Beth!

This turnout was fantastic and it was the PERFECT number of people. There

were somewhere in the ballpark of 75-100 people that showed up between

10am-3pm! And half of them were children (I'm relieved that the kids didn't

put it together that they almost outnumbered the adults...).

The Reese's farm was beautiful...we got a very small taste on the realities

that they have in producing home grown nutrient dense products on a farm

(have you thanked your farmer today?). The drive out to Honeymoon was

gorgeous and worth every mile. I was impressed that we had as many gather

together for this event considering the drive.

The potluck was delicious as always and so fantastic to see new faces as

well! It was especially great to have our treasured farmers

there...'s, Hilsgens, & Alvin!

We have another event in the making for next month, Sept. 10th called Farm

City Day, at Castle Rock Farm in Osseo, WI. The official event will be from

10am-2pm and we'll " carve " out a TFMN/Farmesota section so we can continue

building off of yesterday's gathering as well as previous ones! :

We're working on a campout tied into this event as well. If you haven't been

to their farm yet, it's stunning and you won't want to leave.

Thanks for making it what it was yesterday, everyone!

Becca :-D
