Guest guest Posted August 25, 2003 Report Share Posted August 25, 2003 This Thursday is my " 3 month " check-up with Dr. K, so and I will be heading towards Delano. Will anybody else be there for an appointment or " otherwise " ? My appointment is at 2:30....anybody? anybody? Also, I was in Hemet for almost three weeks....THEN, and I went to Reno and Tahoe with her folks (the in-laws). I did GREAT in Reno...which was good, cause Tahoe really sucked for me. Good thing on the way home we went by Sacramento and played the horses at the State Fair. All in all, it was a very good trip (even with the in-laws). I haven't been keeping up with all the postings, and miss you all terribly. We don't have any trips planned now until October....then we are off to Mexico (rito Beach) for a weekend. By the way....while at the horse races, I was very limited on what was being served to eat. I bit the bullet and ordered a chicken burrito....and let me just tell ya....well...uhmm....(how should I say this)...I felt like my gut was exploding inside. This was after I had even taken 3 Beanos before eating the burrito. I look at a burrito now, and get chills. You wanna scare me? Flash me a burrito. I had never felt such intense pain before or after my surgery, and told there was really no way to describe it. I think she was just happy that I suffered alone, internally, rather than sharing with her (if ya know what I mean). Oh well...such is life....and life by the way is GREAT right now!
