I'm very sensitive to violent imagery and it will stay in my head for years coming back up at any time and making me sick so I'm careful about what I watch. But as for thinking in pictures or words, neither. Do most people think in words and some in pictures? I think in ideas or impressions or feelings and often have a hard time translating them into words. Often I understand something but can't find the words to express it the way I understand it.
