I think if the general consensus is that the lipid friendly regimen will not likely cause any body changes (lipoatrophy/lipodystrophy), I will go back on the prescribed dosage. This is exactly why we need to fight for insurance companies to cover the costs of procedures to help correct or ameliorate the deformaties which many on HIV meds experience. Women with breast cancer fought for it and succeeded. Now people on HIV meds must fight for it. It will, however, be a bit more difficult because of the stigmas carried by those who live with HIV.
