Guest guest
Thanks to your encouragement, some of your sewing skills (thanks to Elias for that!) and some of your patronage, this mattress company is going to ready to get up and running. -->We have natural, spring-free, chemical free (no flame retardants) mattresses made out of natural latex, wool and cotton ready to made for you.<-- Available in Crib, Twin, Full, Queen, and King in the following depths: Futon mattress (2 " latex + 2 " wool) Basic mattress (4 " latex + 1 " wool) Deep mattress (6 " latex + 1 " wool) (varying firmnesses available) I'm sure you know that natural latex in not only not an allergen (that's its cousin synthetic latex), but is also resistant to molds & mildews. Wool is not only natural climate control (you won't wake up sweating in this bed!), it is also federally approved as a fire retardant. Cotton is, well, yes, one of the most heavily chemically treated crops out there, so we offer a non-dyed organic case or a standard case that has been triple washed with soap nuts and washing soda. Fire retardants have been mandated to be included in mattress and box springs since the 70's when cigarettes started causing a few mattress fires. Interestingly enough, in 2006 the new standards were put into place to require fire retardants in all our beds because of 300 deaths nationally. That's all it takes for the rest of us to be affected. Some chemicals that are commonly used:Boric Acid - is a reproductive and developmental toxin, also used as a pesticideAntimony - causes heart and lung damage, also is a possible carcinogenDecabromodiphenyl Oxide - causes hair and memory loss, is also a possible carcinogenPDBE, the first public scare of the chemically laden beds is no longer used in new mattresses A web page is coming soonish, which will mean added expenses which will mean prices will raise, so get your itroductory pricing now, with free delivery in the Twin Cities' Loop. I have plenty more information to share with you and mattresses of each height for you to try out. Send an email my way and we can set up a time to view them and send you an address.
