Guest guest
Personally, I wouldn't, but I am seriously allergic to mold. They can remove it from the surface of the sheetrock, what about the interior of the sheetrock and the wood underneath?? Is paint really going to fix all that? A fellow that does remodeling in our neighborhood (does flips) bought a house in similar shape to what you are talking about. He tore everything out to bare walls in the basement and every scrap of carpet throughout, repainted everything. Said he had avoid the mold problems so had to do it that way fyi. Anyway, there will be mold spores floating about in the air so for me it would still be out of the question. If you are ok with mold spores, maybe ok for you. Sandy > > Hubby and I looked at a house today that we are wondering if it would be Ok to buy. The house has been empty for over a year and water seeped into the basement thanks to everything sloping back to the house (extinctions for the drain spouts and landscaping will take care of the problem). There is a white fuzzy mold in the basement that is growing on the sheet rock. We were told there is companies that come out and clean and take care of it. Does this really take care of mold problems? Is there anything else we should be worried about here? There will be all new flooring through out the house so no worries about mold in carpet and the whole place has been freshly painted. > Kimi > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > " Gardening and Praying both are best done down on the knees " (unknown.) > >
Guest guest
Look into Young Living Essential Oils Thieves line. I know a number of people who have completely fixed mold issues with only the Thieves cleaner. It is natural, non toxic and effective! I would even suggest it be used instead of the other options. You can contact me off list if you want more details. Sent from my iPhone
