congrats to you donna. im 2 weeks out. does he check for leaks at

the next appt?? im glad we have such good follow up care.

no appetite for 4-5 days?? what causes that? are you queasy or just

not hungry? i know its hard to eat when you dont want food.

Hi Kids....

I went to see my new best friend, Dr. K, today. I am excited to say

that I have officially lost 29.5 lbs. since my surgery on 8/14. My

incision and " bullet-holes " have healed nicely, and I don't think

I'll be having any leaks. My energy level is still down at times, and

if I overdo it, I really get wiped out, but that's ok. I realize it

takes time to recover fully, and I just need to keep being patient. I

haven't had an appetite in the last 4-5 days, am forcing myself to

eat, and of course it's protein!

Aside from the actual weight loss, I have lost a lot of inches. I am

wearing two year old saved favorite clothes, and they are a little

baggy. Such a great feeling!

I tell ya, this DS thing REALLY DOES WORK!!!

Congrats Donna! Too funny you said bullet holes because when one of

my girlfriends saw my drain holes she kinda freaked out and

said " those look like bullet holes Ewwww " LOL
