Guest guest
Hi, everyone! I just moved back to the extended metro area from Charlotte, NC -- we're just across into Wisconsin When we lived here 3 years ago I was JUST getting into traditional foods and in Charlotte there is a thriving yet small community where I learned a lot and really got my feet wet. Eating traditional is the exact opposite of how I grew up eating so I'm still learning though. I'm looking for high quality food as close to home as possible. And compared to Charlotte, that seems to be the biggest problem - in general, sources are MUCH farther here in the cities. Oh well. Biggest things I'm looking for help finding are free range EGGS (non GMO non soy) and pastured RAW MILK (or at least mostly pastured). In WI counties: Polk, Burnett, Barron, or St Croix or MN counties: Chisago, Anoka, or Washington. I checked the chart in the database but it didn't look like there was any raw milk near any of these counties... is this right? Is poplar hills goat milk raw or pasteurized?? Feel free to reply offlist Once I get my kefir grains multiplying again, I'll be able to share some! And if I can get my hands on a good SCOBY soon, I'll share those too
