Guest guest
Thanks for posting that. I'm in California and this week when I went to buy my raw milk there was none on the shelves from either of the two California raw milk dairies, Organic Pastures and Claravale. An employee at the store told me there was an e-coli recall. He believed that the milk had actually tested positive for e-coli. I thought it was awfully strange that BOTH dairies would have outbreaks at the same time! So it turns out that neither of them actually did. The evidence was strictly circumstantial. Pretty depressing. Great press conference from Mark McAfee. The GOOD news here is that no one who got sick had drunk raw GOAT milk, and Claravale had sent a large shipment of raw goat milk. So thank God we have that. Gail On 11/19/2011 6:04 AM, emangela3 wrote: > > This happened on November 15th, the day after the Wise Traditions > conference. Guest guest
Thanks for the recommendation I discovered that my library has one copy for the county I'm in. It's popular. I'm 7th on the wait list for it. I'll be watching the progress of this attack on raw milk here in California with great interest! You're right about how glaring a target Mark is. The other raw milk dairy, Claravale, pretty much flies under the radar screen. But unlike OP, Claravale does have goats, and the shipment they sent in lieu of cow milk was huge. I'm sure THAT will attract attention. Clearly no one in this framing party thought to claim they drank raw goat milk... Guest guest
If there is one UNIFYING FACTOR of why we are all here on this discussion group is revolves around the notion of " food freedom " , especially the desire to access RAW MILK and other farm-fresh foods if we so choose. " Why does our government hate freedom so much!!!??? " asks Salatin in Farmageddon. Yes, what in the hell is wrong with our food laws?? And why? How did it get this way? To that point, here's a valuable link that showed up on my Pastured Livestock discussion group this morning. LIke our group here, that group would much rather be talking about what we love, in that group, things like grass, biology and how to raise our Brix, but the government has thrust this barrier in our faces. Here's the link forwarded by a grassfed beef farmer: http://www.naturalnews.com/032622_ecoli_bioengineering.html Then, this is what I wrote this morning in response...... Thanks for sending this valuable link, I hope everyone will read it. Why? Because sooner or later, if you are producing anything for food you are very likely to be accused of some sort of contamination. Most often it doesn't happen until you get big enough to get " visible " . We are currently facing accusations of E coli 0157: H7 on Mark McAfee's dairy in CA, 0157:H7 here in MN, and other strange, dangerous and completely inexplicable pathogens that have " popped up " on other small farms across the land. Meanwhile, the huge food cartels kill thousands and go right on with their business, no jail, no embargo, rarely a fine. Hummmm? Like most of us I grew up in a Love America, Christian farm family. What could go wrong? We were the Liberators who brought peace and democracy to the endarkened world, right? I think I was first diverted into a " conspiracy theorist " once we discovered that the whole country had been lied to as we were subverted towards the Viet Nam debacle. Then it was really brought home when the book THE HOT ZONE came out and I realized that the two wormy vets who were running the US military monkey lab, actually developing Ebola-bearing weapons (and other bioweapons) were in fact: two of my former classmates! They were Class A worms throughout school, and now this..... Suddenly, I " got " where large agencies get these demented scientists to work on evil and diabolical destruction scenarios. It's right out of Harry Potter, except for the sad fact that it is real. For me, actually knowing these demented and creepy scientists personally made it horrifyingly real. It gives me cold chills to repeat this but several of us have recently been told of witnesses with insider information that discloses the fact that at least one small farm was deliberately seeded down with potentially lethal bioengineered pathogens. The intent was to sabotage the farm so that the farmer could be brought down forever. I'm not saying this to demoralize anyone, but more to say, let us not be innocent lambs led to slaughter.
