Guest guest
You can do this, Janet! Dump the patch when you can and just don't give in! Pick a time of the week when you can take to your bed with just your water, it's only a 3 day physical detox, the rest is emotional and long term habit. Like anything else, it just takes time, patience and determination... The mistake that I and many made is to take that ONE puff of a cigarette, you then have to start ALL over from day one to detox, and each time it becomes harder.. Quit cold turkey.. I used a few websites to help me through, there are many, and sucked on a ton of hard candy.. After trying to quit for years I finally made it almost 2 years ago, you can do it! Guest guest
AMEN SHEENA!!!! I quit several times while I was pregnant but always went back until 24 years ago,, the ONE thing that really helped is drinking lots of Orange and citrus juice as it helps to flush out the nicotine really fast... by day 5 more than 90% of the stored nicotine is out when you do this,, I have NEVER regretted quitting,, hoorah to you too!!!! jaxSheena <mom4possums2002@...> wrote: You can do this, Janet! Guest guest
I think that what helped me is that I smoked in my dreams for a long time. It was okay there and I always knew that one cig would be just fine. lol When life was tough, I could also fly in my dreams and get above the smallness of others. It really helped me through a bad situation. I can't or don't do either any more. Re: Re: Quitting! Janet You can do this, Janet! Dump the patch when you can and just don't give in! Guest guest
That’s a wonderful thing, is it not! Our 14 year old daughter is like that. She’s our hangin’ bud. But she likes swing and big band and classical and new age with a touch of rock thrown in. I have been getting my exercise doing DDR with her.
