Guest guest
I'm hoping everyone will tolerate a tiny bit more back-and-forth on these political candidates. I promise to keep it nipped short. I agree that this site is NOT a political site, it's about GOOD FOOD, and always will be. I was open to hearing knowledgable people discussing candidates in general (not mud-slinging) with regard to their stance on food issues. Guest guest
I agree that politics is very relevant to this group. I would also say that food is bipartisan. We have had our eyes and ears and mouths closed for too long when it comes to how our government operates. It has been socially unacceptable to discuss politics (and religion). Why? We need to get over it, so that we can contribute to society in whatever way we deem appropriate. Kathy
Guest guest
If I were to vote on food safety and availability alone Ron would not be my candidate. I don't think that getting rid of the EPA and lifting government roadblocks to the use of coal and nuclear power will lead to safer food. > > I'm hoping everyone will tolerate a tiny bit more back-and-forth on these political candidates.
