If the topic is another persons business, particuarly someones

misfortune they'll most likely gossip about it for weeks!

Indeed it does, it has only recently happened to me, hence my

decision not to talk to anyone who lives around me to any great

length any more. It would appear that when you are a loner and then

do speak to someone that everything you say is quoted, or rather

misquoted. Bit like being a celeb I would imagine.
