Guest guest
Belinda, Just wondering what you're doing with the grains between batches? I may have a surplus when my current batch finishes doing it's thing. I'll let you know, just send me your email address. Shelli labelleacres wrote: > > Anybody have any extra? Mine died again. Guest guest
I've done that before, it takes them a while to wake back up. You'll need to adjust your ferment times or the amount of milk you culture at one time.-Jenn You rock. That's why Blockbuster's offering you one month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost. Guest guest
I have grains grown in raw goats milk. email me off list if you want them. Patty forbesfarm@... Kefir Grains I am looking for kefir grains that have been made with either raw goat or raw cow milk on them. I would be happy to pay shipping. My zip is 99654. I am in Wasilla Alaska. My present kefir grains seem to be having problems after my hubby stuck them in the fridge for a week. They just don't seem to be recovering and making kefir the way they were before. We try to make about 2-3 gallons per week and we are missing the really good stuff we had! Please email me at goatmilkgci (DOT) net Thanks much, Rhonda

Guest guest
For any and all information on kefir check out http://users.sa.chariot.net.au/~dna/kefirpage.html. It is Dom’s site and he is the kefir guru! Grains love resting in the fridge for a while, so they aren’t dead. However, they may just need some ramping up. My suggestion is to let them go no more than 24 hours for a couple batches and then they should be good to go. But do check out Dom’s site for any questions. He is the master of kefir! Guest guest
Hi Darlene - i have several up here in N Minnesota that are looking for kefir grains - they are not members of this group as of Yet - May I share with them your info? - I do not have enough to share or trade out- I have told them that they ship well - but what is your experience with this Minnesota cold? Could freeze possibly. I am sure we could arrange pickup as some one is always either coming down to metro area or heading up this way at some or another- Becky C > > I always have water kefir grains to share for just reimbursement of the cost of shipping etc. I am out of milk kefir grains at this time though. > > Just message me privately and I would be more than happy to send you some. > > Darlene Livingstone > >
Guest guest
Oops, I may have messed up. When I joined I didn't realize it was a group for residents of MN. I'm clear out in CA, lol, but if anyone still wants grains I have about 25 cups worth that need to find new homes. I've been mailing them all over the country, but for some reason mine grow faster than I can deal with. Thanks. Darlene Livingstone
Guest guest
Water kefir grains right? LOL ... if my milk kefir grains grew like that I would fall over in a faint. LOL And yes, we are a MN group but there are a fair number of folks who are also interested in traditional foods from around the country who are also part of the group. So you are welcome. :-) Thanks Darlene, Jaxi On Mon, Jan 30, 2012 at 1:30 PM, D. M. Livingstone <dmmlivingstone@... > wrote: > Oops, I may have messed up.
