Guest guest
Neal makes a good point. But I kind of take the opposite approach. I think the big deal at your or anyone else's 25th high school reunion will be how FAT everyone has gotten! Forget HIV and wasting for a second and consider one thing you mentioned - " I am trying do best to get tan and look (the) same as High School. " No one there is going to look like they did at 18. Although I'm sure some will be trying. A good tan is a great idea. You might want to do a little experimenting with artificial tanners as well. I can spend an hour a day worshiping Ra on my 3rd floor deck 200 yards from the Seawall and the Gulf of Mexico but it's when I remember to slap on a little Nuetrogena face tanner that anybody notices. Come to think of it, why not another session of Sculptra in July? I assume you know all about their liberal patient assistance program. (I don't think I've ever taken the time to acknowledge 's role in its unusually generous parameters. Thank you, .) I respect your decision not to disclose your status to this particular segment of the people in your life. But to me being out as HIV positive is almost as empowering as being an out gay man. I guess I'm out as a curmudgeon and an over-opinionated ass as well, but I digress. To me it sort of comes down to the old question of living with HIV or just not dying from it... I do believe that, " Here I am, kiss my ass if you don't like it. " opens many doors that are otherwise closed to us.
