Guest guest
You are right Alvin, more people need to have access to the milk and other products and it should not be any big deal to have someone bring the items to that person. Unbiased info is difficult since both sides get caught up in this issue and push " facts " to suit their purpose. There is good and bad info from both sides. I have found a website that stated that raw kefir cured AIDS. Yeah, sure it does. Misinformation from either side makes that side look like they don't know what they are talking about and are lacking basic info. And that turns people away. Which I think the CDC is finding out with their statistics used in the debate a few months back. I know there are at least 7 farmers bringing milk and dairy goodies into the metro and surrounding areas now, some have other farm items as well--CSA's, meats, eggs, homemade items, etc. Some only have a couple extra gallons a week to share with friends/family, others have a few customers. It is all done privately and should not be of any concern beyond the agreement between the farmer/customer. We need more people like Mel Olsen who will stand up to the MDA and stand up for their farmers--and even those who are not their farmers. So many have seemed to started hiding in the sand. Or worse, claim they want good food and then have started to go the way of large dairy with the pasteurized milk from Wisconsin that gets promoted here. What is with dead food being promoted on a Trad foods list anyway? Such hypocrisy. :-)
