This is from Liz Lipski, PhD CCN, author of Digestive Wellness and

Digestive Wellness for Children, also an established serious nutritionist

with the Institute for Functional Medicine, and speaker at the Autism

Research Institute conferences.

I'm not sure yet what action we can take, other than to speak up and let

the world know that ADA/AND efforts may be " legal " but not honest nor

truthful, and their pronouncements in favor of the processed fake food

Standard American SAD diet have nothing to do with good health. Do read

the article, and inform yourself about the perfidy of these handmaidens

(pimps) for the processed food industry.

FYI, there are many CCNs who earned the CCN (Board Certified Clinical

Nutritionist) credential having started as RDs. A universal comment heard

from them, as they learn how to apply specific nutrients in a whole real

food context to restore health (not merely control symptoms), has been 'the

CCN teaches what I expected and wanted to learn, that is real food an how

best to use it. The RD program simply promotes processed foodstuffs and

how to run an institutional kitchen, using Sysco or GFS commodity packaged

items.' A CCN studies and applies understanding of biochemistry and its

effects on physiology. Real food rules. L MS CCN

Liz's message starts here:

Dear DSC Community,

As some of you know, I've been working with a small group called the

Alliance for Nutrition over the past 6 months or so to protect your rights.

The politics of nutrition have heating up. The Academy of Dietetics and

Nutrition (AKA: American Dietetic Association) is spearheading quite an

effort to gain monopoly over the field. As nutrition education becomes

part of the new health care model, there will be a lot of money for support

groups and one-on-one counseling. They'd like to have it all.

Today in Forbes, a comprehensive article describes this issue...better than

I could. Just know that one person makes a huge difference.
