Eat Natto! It is a Japanese fermented soybean cheese. Works like magic to clear

the arteries, however it is nearly impossible to find. The Wedge carries a

dehydrated version which I have never tried because I don't know if it would

have the same effects. In some cities you can find it frozen in Japanese

grocery stores. Someone told me once to try South Mpls so I went to every

" oriental " store I could find and nobody ever heard of it. If you do find it,

make sure it is made with organic non-GMO soybeans, and don't use the

chemical-laden sauce that comes with it. Just note, it is a very acquired

taste--slimy and quite yucky to some palates.

An alternative is to take natto or nattokinase (the enzyme that does the work)

capsules, which you can get cheap at Swanson's. In an advanced case of

athersclerosis, you would need a high dosage and probably want to be monitored

by a naturopath or other practitioner.

I apologize if this is too off topic but since the condition of hardened arteris

is clearly diet related I thought someone could offer up help or experience.

calcification numbers he is seeing are rapidly increasing and he reluctantly is

currently on his MD prescribed statins. He wants off and is open to anything

natural that will work. If you know of anything or have experienced success with

treatment of anykind. Help would be much appreciated.

Here is a link for high-potency nattokinase, that includes a lot of

other goodies like CoQ10, which her dad should definitely be taking

anyway if he is going to be on statins. Statins cause nerve and muscle

damage in quite a few people. The heart is a rather important muscle,

so the irony is ridiculous.

Please research nattokinase first though, and he should NOT start taking

it without clearing it ahead of time with his doctor, especially if he

is taking blood-thinners / anticoagulants already.

There is lower dosage nattokinase without the additional supplements on

deep discount right now at Vitacost for a limited time:
