Guest guest
Not fun stuff, and it seems to pick the worst times to 'follow the kids home'. We used a " good probiotic " (powder), and the best D3 we could find. It seemed to help shorten its stay Other than that, just bear with it. Our oldest(3rd grade) brought it home, and within a week all 4 kids had it. It only stuck around for ~ 2 weeks, average of 5-6days per kid Sent from my Verizon Wireless Phone ----- Reply message ----- From: " Suanne Colegrove " <suannemarie@...> " " < > Subject: Re: Homeopathy for hand foot and mouth disease Date: Tue, Apr 24, 2012 4:25 pm My toddler had it too, it's tough to see them go through such an uncomfortable illness! Guest guest
I need to share our amazing experience with this illness. I'm sure others have even more compelling tales of wonder regarding health and traditional foods. Both of my kids contracted *gasp* Hand Foot and Mouth " Disease " this last week. I read about how it easily can last two weeks so I was prepared for a long haul for it to go through both our kids. My toddler fought it off in 2-3 days. My daughter literally had it for one day. The rash came and went just as quickly. Graham first seemed " off " on Saturday afternoon. It's Wednesday and no one would know there was ever an issue. I'm not saying this is a very serious illness regardless. And for certain, fully healthy, well-nourished kids could fight this for the full two plus weeks. I don't have any " before and after " stories since this is the only way my kids have eaten. But I know the discussion of " is it all worth it " was circulating a couple months ago. IMO of course it is worth it - and if you walk this journey authentically, you will find much joy and no burden at all. This week I am feeling very grateful that I was turned onto traditional foods before kids. Now to help spread the word Thanks to all the homeopathy tips, both here and via email. . > > Anyone have any insight as to which remedies would make sense for hand foot and mouth disease for my toddler?
