Guest guest
Hope the move will not be too stresfull for you - thanks for email. Will your email still be up and running? " PS Any yard sale ideas/tips? " Other than not having one :-) Seriously though - don't underprice items - you can always reduce them if needs be. Of course don't price too high either :-) Advanced planning, organising, making sure you have change, carrier bags and the like, possibly calculator etc. A good idea to have someone else helping if things get too much and you need a break (I suppose some of this may be obvious). > > Things are going to be crazy for me over the next couple of months as I > will be busy getting ready to move while beginning my new job (and > feeling the urge to run off to the woods, but what else is new?). > Hopefully, I won't GO crazy in the process...anyway, just wanted to say > that although I might not be posting, I'll be enjoying the conversation > and wishing I had time to join in! Guest guest
Yes. Make sure the " juk " you are selling isn't valuable before you sell it. I have seen so much of stuff that I gave away in the past turn up on The Antiques Road Show. Pop in please and post from time to time and let us know how you are doing. Guest guest
Thanks, ...hope you are feeling better! (did you 'Smash the Atom'? or maybe those sites were too silly? :-) Jill > > Hope the move will not be too stresfull for you - thanks for email. >

Guest guest
Not had chance to look at sites yet - have a back log of housework to catch up on now I am feeling better, not to mention paperwork :-( One of my emails to you bounced back, not sure which one - something I need to figure out later. > > > > Hope the move will not be too stresfull for you - thanks for email. > > >

We moved a couple of times when I was a kid and never really liked it. The first house we lived in was terrific, but my father didn't like the once a month parties the swim club about a quarter mile away had during the summer. So, rather than by some good ear plugs, we moved. After the folks divorced, my mother and I moved up the street from the second house, one that seem cursed since every family that has stayed there since us, and before for that matter, ended up divorced. No ideas on yardsales though. We've never done one and I don't often go to them. Do you have an Ebay shop near you? Some men around here have a store where they will post things on Ebay for you for a cut of the sale. I've not taken anything to them though.
