Guest guest
I wasn't aware of this law. We are considering doing a part-time preschool to supplement homeschooling, I suppose this applies there too? I am hardly surprised by the overreach the USDA claims to have here, but what about breastmilk? That is surely allowed in daycares unpasteurized. Is this restriction mainly centered on the " with meals " provision? There might be a legal loophole from those angles. Either way, I am glad to be made aware of the situation. Guest guest
You can very easily get around this by getting a doctors note stating that the parents are going to provide the childs food. I did that with , never had a problem with his preschool about it. I did not bring up that he was going to drink raw milk, but that I did not like the fact that she was providing the USDA guided lunches that are made from highly processed crap. I told the teacher that I do not feed my son sugary cereal at home and did not want him to have it there, no store bought hot dogs, kraft mac and cheese, etc. No problem bringing meals from home but I did need to get that dr. note. It is rather stupid to need to have a dr. note for anything but it is the fastest way to get around it. And the laws need to be changed, parents I think by majority do know what is best for their children. > > > > She is a fabulous photographer we should support....along with our own Alison Kuznia who did our birth photos. > > > > > > http://chaska-chanhassen-waconia.kstp.com/news/news/107672-carver-couple-wants-m\ ore-control-their-kids-food > > >
