Just like a lot of stuff, you just cannot beat making something for your own

consumption.

I tried fermenting my first sauerkraut.

My recipe: nothing but cabbage and salt.

Result: best sauerkraut I ever ate!

Beginners DO NOT hesitate to try lacto fermentation!
