Guest guest
Latoya, I feel for you and for your mom. It must be very hard to see her in such condition. I worked as a home care aide and it sure sounds to me as if she needs one. If she lives on her SS, she sure as heck can get one. I'm hoping for the best for you and for her. Sharon Re: hepc and psyche meds NOOOOOOOOOOO I just visited mother and she is on Lexapro and other meds for rejection (she had transplant)Well I don't even recognize her she has bad tremors she doesnt understand what we say, forgetful and will fall asleep at any given notice.I read through her meds and one of the pain med she is on I think GenGraf causes tremors etc but also does Lexapro, and the dr havent picked up on it? Now she has a visiting nurse so she has an advocate. And at her next dr app. I want her off those meds though i dont know if that will reverse the damage. She been on them for a year and she never told us.Shes totally disabled now and now i have to run around to try to get her affairs in order and i dont know what i will do if they dont give her a home attendent bc me and my sis HAVE TO WORK. So pray for us and tell ur husband to look into herbal remedies, I also used regular Vitamin B 100mg for a couple of years and i felt the cloud lift. Drs never told me to take it (listened to garynull.com) they just brushed off my symptoms just like they are doing with my mom.We have to be real cautious when taking any meds and not doing our own homework.>> my fiance (who i have lived with for 3 years) was recently dx. with hepc> type 3. he is also on zyprexa and lexapro. does anyone know how safe> it is to take these meds. while having hepc? he hasn't started > treatment yet. he has his first apt. with the gi dr. on the 22nd of > jan.> > the psych dr. and the med. dr. say the psych meds are safe. anyone > else on psych meds. and have hepc?> > thank you, samantha.>It's a pleasure having you join in our conversations. Guest guest
There are advocates who will fight for your mother's rights. I don't know where to go to find one, but any senior agency can help you find one. THey usually have a list of agencies who can help you. Call a christian agency, like Catholic Community Services and ask who to call. She's not even able to go to appts right now and she still needs the help. Re: hepc and psyche meds NOOOOOOOOOOO tHANX sHARON SHE is IN THE PROCESS for SSI . right now she is on Public Assistance and they terminated her case cause she missed her appointment. So her medicaid is off and since she didnt tell me or anyone until now everyone is scrambling, bc she has to go to the hospital but with no medicaid thats not happening.> >> > my fiance (who i have lived with for 3 years) was recently dx. with > hepc> > type 3. he is also on zyprexa and lexapro. does anyone know how safe> > it is to take these meds. while having hepc? he hasn't started > > treatment yet. he has his first apt. with the gi dr. on the 22nd of > > jan.> > > > the psych dr. and the med. dr. say the psych meds are safe. anyone > > else on psych meds. and have hepc?> > > > thank you, samantha.> >> > > > > It's a pleasure having you join in our conversations. Guest guest
a year is a short time med wise and IF it IS what is causing her tremors, taking her off of them should relieve that,, but she might have other problems after stopping as well,, as a rise in her depression and that is not good either.. I feel for ya hon cuz I am taking care of both of my parents who are divorced from each other, my mom is crazy and my father is in a nursing home again with end stage renal disease, heart disease and copd... I spend ALL my time taking care of them... Guest guest
as I said before,, if you take her off of the meds, she may have other problems too,, MY mom has tremors from her meds too but without her meds, she is uncontrollable... sometimes I guess we have to weigh the pro's and con's of the meds and side effects.. its hard, I know,, Latoya <blackat2010@...> wrote: I just visited mother and she is on Lexapro and other meds for rejection (she had transplant)Well I don't even recognize her she has bad tremors she doesnt understand what we say, forgetful and will fall asleep at any given notice.I read through her meds and one of the pain med she is on I think GenGraf causes tremors etc but also does Lexapro, and the dr havent picked up on it?
