First of all, the hunger-striking Canadian dairy farmer MICHAEL SCHMIDT has just

this morning achieved his goal of getting the Onterio Premier Dalton McGinty to

actually sit down with him and listen to the story of raw milk., who has

done nothing wrong, has for over a decade been needlessly persecuted, arrested

and harranged to the point of bankruptcy, despair and collapse. This was the

37th day of his near-death ordeal which he had bravely titled " DIALOG OR DEATH " .

It was reported that was able to hold down a few sips of soup at lunch

today!

And, perhaps of equal important was the surprising breakthrough earlier this

week of the RAW MILK FREEDOM RIDERS, who in full and open defiance of the

officers and officials from the FDA openly brought their newly-purchased RAW

MILK across state lines. The officers were standing by, but those in charge

made the last minute judgement call to back off and allow the well-promoted and

well-covered by media Freedom Riders to freely pass by without arrest! The

activists brought raw milk for their own consumption across state lines,

PENNSYLVANIA raw milk to MARYLAND, a crime based on current law. The official

statement from the FDA is that we " will not enforce the ban of interstate

shipment of raw milk for personal consumption by individuals " ,

The war is nowhere near over, we know that it has just begun, but these brave

actions by brave individuals were extremely well-thought-out and extremely

well-done. These people need to be saluted and honored for what they have chosen

to risk for the benefit of the rest of us! Inspiring. Hopeful.
