Hi Inger,

I experience it the same way as you described in your post. I mostly think

as speaking as something tiring, especially because I don't know when it is

enough or if I do have to continue talking. I also have problems with

conversations because I never know where to start with explaining or

starting telling a story. I find too many details interesting or funny or

necesary to tell and people kind of loose the red line. I always try to

explain that they just should 'go wild my wordflow' because they will

understand when they just go on listening, but I know that not everyone

appreciates it : ) So, or I hardly speak at all, or I speak a lot. And

speaking a lot is tyring.

I also believe that telepathy is more logical and I believe I have the

ability to do so with people around me and with whom I am able to bond. Or

therefor I am able to bond with them, don't know if this is a chicken-egg

thing : )

I think my basic mode is thinking in pictures, just like Temple Grandin. I

have a well developed visualisation ability, though not quite as good as

hers, except in a few areas of special interest.

I can think in words as well but that's learned behavior; not what comes

most natural to me. I find words fascinating but also limiting, frustrating

and amazingly time consuming.

I am sure humans were originally designed for telepathy and have somehow

lost that ability and not re-developed it yet.

I will respond to this - hope you don't mind :-) I have a very visual

mind so whether I see or read it - it will stick in my mind.

Sometimes words are able to conjure up pictures that then get stuck

in my head - and sometimes images or sounds stick in my head too. If

the images are negative or unwanted I do not like such; but also I

get great joy from seeing things in nature - these to me are happy

visuals :-) Also as you know reading Terry Pratchett books cause me

great joy :-)

As for TV it is not too bad if I know that it is not real, but real

things that are negative, when I view them they cause me great upset.

I prefer to see nature for real - on TV is okay, but not the full

experience. I love seeing animals in the wild, mostly on TV there as

I am not near many wild animals apart from the squirells in the park

behind my house, the odd fox and of course the couple of bats that

hang around :-)

Does this answer any of your questions on the subject? Or have I

misread it?

Hello, Lida!

Thank you very much, that means a lot to me (words = work). :-)

Did I read that you are in Amsterdam? Wow, I was privileged to spend

about a week riding a bicycle in the Netherlands and it was the best.

So wonderful that I realized how crazy I was to try riding a bike here

in Atlanta! :-(

Thanks again,

Jill

Hey, while Atlanta is probably quite warm and muggy a lot of the time,

you need to come and visit the Pacific Northwest for some entertaining

territory! :)

I've personally used my car's odometer to measure the longer main road

hills around here that have useful sidewalks or bike lanes, and within

less than 3 miles of me are hills that are 1.5 miles long, and that's

without getting into the mountains! There's one street that's 5/16th

mile from me that is equivalent (or worse) to " Heartbreak Hill " on the

Boston Marathon course (I've driven there in person when visiting my

employer's headquarters in MA) several times in a row: when I drive my

car there, I have to downshift (5-speed manual transmission 93 Saturn

SC2) to about 3rd gear going up the hills (the speed limit is 35 mph)

and downshift going down the hills to keep from exceeding 50 mph

coasting (cops like to wait at the bottom of the hill... otherwise I

wouldn't care).

As steep as many of the proper roads are around here (I'm within

running distance of Microsoft's world headquarters) there are many

driveways here that make me wonder what drugs people were on, that

have a slope that's greater than 20% grade, that are at least a couple

hundred feet long, and often curved. It's a darn good thing that ice

and snow are exceedingly rare around here outside of the mountains...
