Guest guest
I second this great idea, a GAPSter meeting and support group. And, yes, I'm sure someone will soon create a restaurant with at least a GAPS optional menu, not that difficult given all the " legal " eating options. It's my prediction for 2012 that we will see more and more people adapting this amazing gluten-free recipe for gut-healing, brain-healing and radiant health. If you are reading this and wondering what GAPS is, you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy of the landmark book by Dr Natasha -McBride. GAPS refers to " Gut-Associated Psychology Syndrome " . The Minneapolis Tribune is running a series of scary articles about children with A.D.D., Autism, and conditions all the way to Bipolar Disorder (yes, it really does exist). It's quite terrifying to read about these damaged children who disrupt families, schools, and even neighborhoods, eventually landing either in prison, lifelong welfare disability or an early grave. Even worse, it's becoming epidemic. One can only imagine the daily diet of these young disaster children. IF you, or someone you love are suffering with some chronic inflammatory or degenerative disease, if you are obese, diabetic, arthritic, allergic, depressed, have chronic fatigue syndrome, or are taking Rx drugs, you owe it to yourself to try GAPS for a month or more. This is powerful stuff. As a side note, isn't it interesting that 99.9% of the Registered Dietitians, as well as 99.9% of the MDs, remain totally clueless about food-induced illness? Ostriches with their heads buried in the sand! It's bordering on criminal neglect. Will Winter Farmesota WAPF

Guest guest
I just registered, ...see you this Saturday! Becca P.S. It seems like EVERYBODY is either on GAPS or about to go on GAPS right now. Even my cousin and his family are doing it out in South Dakota (if the word has hit the street in SD, then yes, EVERYONE must be doing it ;-) and I don't think I even told them about it!
