Hi Vicki - I am doing great... I have some days that I am a little low

energy and other days where it is not a problem. I have been sleeping about

9 hours at nite so I guess my body is recooping. I am down about 17 lbs so

far....not bad at all for a light weight! Thanks for asking.

wow- you started at 210#. you are a lightweight. lucky thing.

congrats on the weight loss. sounds like you are doing great. does

being a lightweight cause slower weight loss? i think 17 pounds is

great. its only been a few weeks.

Vicki - I had 4 prior WL surgeries (this was my fifth).... as such, my

surgery was open.

Vicki - I am revision patient - I was gaining weight from prior failed

surgeries. Rather than wait until my BMI was 40 or more, I was looking at

having surgery when I was smaller, and in better health, as I was clearly

gaining each year. I will likely loose less than a person starting out with

the DS as a first timer. I dont know if I will loose slower. I have

noticed that other revision patients with more to loose do loose slower than

a first time DS person.

Dr. K has estimated that I will loose between 50-60lbs which would put me

at 150-160 lbs. Whereas my ideal weight is probably in the 130's. Believe

me if I end up stable in the 150-160 range I will be thrilled after all I

have been through.
