Funny part here is that when I do want the cholesterol I can't seem to find any recipes that can tell me how much to put in and for that matter where I should purchase a container of it so I can keep some cholesterol on hand for those special recipes. I am interested in finding a place to purchase raw milk, good beef soup bones, eggs in the Forest Lake area (north east suburbs). I have started a garden, not much came up this year, Lord willing next year will be better. I think my soil is wrong - clay. I have canned for the first time also. I want to get back to what my grandparents had. Natural and real. Our health suffers because of the junk that we have put into our bodies and I want to try to change our eating at home the best that I can. I am a housewife and I am teaching myself what I can. Any books and/or links on going back to the basics would be great. I saw the Nettles book and will be looking into that more. There is so much to unlearn and to learn the right way. I am over whelmed at times but have to remember that baby steps are good too and not try to change it all in one full sweep. Thank you for the information that you share on this site.
