Hi All,

Can anybody tell me if you can use the same kefir grains for coconut kefir

and milk kefir? Meaning both alternating them & same actual grain type to

do both. Is it ok to ferment coconut water with probiotics? I read that

it is but want input from others.

Thanks,

amy

I have us3ed milk grains for both coconut milk and cows milk. It turns out just

fine! I would assume the other question would be okay but I think you would

need to buy water kefir grains. Your milk ones don't work in water.

Milk kefir, water kefir or both? Might help for those who have grains to

share. :-)

I always have water kefir grains to share for just reimbursement of the cost of

shipping etc.  I am out of milk kefir grains at this time though.

Just message me privately and I would be more than happy to send you some.
