I will tell you that, if I had to choose,

that I would certainly rather that my children smoke pot than drink or do pills. But this big drug war crap is keeping a lot

of people employed, they have made an industry of it and it has little to do

with reality. We

criminalize our people in hugely disproportionate amounts to the rest of the

world. Drugs draw large

sentences while attacks and other violent crimes often draw probation.

I guess my approach was coming from a legal

angle rather than medical,in that Tim would be able to show some

medical reason for the use of pot and thus defend himself against his

ex's attempts to have him declared " unfit " by the court in order to

take away their little boy.

Tim As unfair as this is,, it is still the law... Tim, I agree with you on this point. Maybe you can make good use of your time as your son reaches 18 and organize your viewpoint, get your case for legalizing medicinal marijuana together. Then run for an elected office and try to change things. But for now you have to recognize YOUR most important issue. Would you rather smoke a big fattie or raise your little cutie? A judge will say that can't do both. KathyHillbilly Tim <knoxweb1@...> wrote: is a person, cop ,judge unfit

yea like proving the teacher is a perv and the priest is a pedophile, and the sheriff is selling drugs none of that ever goes on.the only reason its not legal is the millions our elected officials would lose in bribes, including the judgesJackie on <redjaxjm@...> wrote: that is true but one would have to PROVE that the judge was under the influence and that would be nearly impossible!Sharon Crosby <blubirdxoxo > wrote: If a judge passed sentence on someone while under the influence, it WOULD matter, you all.
