I agree. While these people may not be representative of AS overall, the mere fact that they may have AS is no reason to excuse or defend this vile behavior. Since we know of this behavior, if we don't condemn it and distance ourselves from them, we will be found guilty by association for letting them in any group we are also a part of.

It would be akin to belonging to a club and bringing in a new member. If that member went on bragging about molesting children but the club did nothing, then the club would be tainted by association. Once word got out about not only that person being a member of the club, but also that they regularly told their stories of molestation yet the other club members did nothing, then all members would be judged to be tactitly approving of child molestation, even if that is far from the case.

Furthermore, this person is writing about victimizing the very ones she claims to care so much about. This would reflect doubly badly on us.

Simply put, just because that group claims to have AS members and to support AS causes, does not excuse vile behavior. To let them in the group would be to expose ourselves to taint by association and to give them a greater sense of legitimacy.

Its is just a very bad thing do.

All I did was point out the inappropriateness of posting excerpts from it

HERE, since that CLEARLY breaks the rules of this forum - which the two of

you being admin should be well aware of.

I also voiced my opinion that Leif should be free to make up his own mind

after having read the requested links, without anyone needing to badger him

(knowing him, that will only have the opposite effect anyway).

I strongly resent any implications of anything else and would like an

do. I have quite a bit of ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) in me..

the stories that were written and of which I have knowledge.

Sorry for my language, I was a bit miffed. Of course you can post your opinion on the issue (although I personally think enough has been said on it already by now).

The Satanist and his wife has nothing to do with these stories. I just wanted to make that clear. It's two different groups of people we're talking about, and I don't want it to be said that we attribute something to someone who didn't do it.

I didn't mention either of the groups by name. My comments were, however, directed at whichever one it is that is being run by the Satanists and are writing those deplorable stories. As for butting in, this is an open forum so any comments would not be butting in. If it were a private conversation and I involved myself in it, that would be butting in.
