Sometimes when I take the Ribiviran pills it feels like I am high or something. My skin goes numb and hot and tingly, and i feel instantly dehydrated, and i can barely keep my eyes open, and i feel like i am tripping on a psychedelic drug or something. I have had an episode like this twice. This evening on my way home all the lights had halos and trails and i did not even take the ribaviran today at all. I think it might have been brought on by possibly taking all these different drugs, otc cold meds with dxm, antibiotic, allergy meds, anitdepresant lexapro, trazodone for sleep, and clonipen for sleep, and benadryl for sleep (not at the same time of course), and tons of ibuprofen and excedrin. i think i was just on too much stuff. i am going to give it another day till i feel a little more normal and then resume the ribaviran. No wonder i have been forgetting where i park my car everywhere i go and am so spaced out . I have sarcoidosis in my eyes from Tx so its nothing to play with. You should have had your eyes checked by an opthamologist BEFORE you did tx and at 6 weeks after you started. Please check on this as tx can really really harm your eyes! I am thinking it is more because of lack of water, than the pills..NOW antihistimenes or decongestants make me feel that way, or like I did when I was on cocaine.. I am a downer kind of guy and i really dont like feeling jittery. at first I was trying to just tolerate it and white knuclke it but know i am thinking low dose xanax prn for when i feel all jittery. I have declared all out WAR on this Hep C Genotype 1 Virus, and i am going to fight this Motherfucker to the end using all my available resources. I have an army of riba pills, My generals are my IFN shots, and my Commander is my doctor. I sure had it, lots of days are just gone from my memory during that time. I had an episode of brain fog and jitters yesterday. Couldn't hang on to a thought very long and was a bearcat to be around. I thought that was all behind me. Today, I went over what I'd done financially and I sure screwed it up!!! Now I have to go baack and check each check off and find out where I am. I HATE this....
