Ill have to try it Janet,, I buy pure Aloe for my stomach and it helps with constipation! so now Ill try to grow my own, I always had them when we lived in Ariz!Janet <doc_jade@...> wrote: Jackie, I grow it in pots in my house. They need very little water. And very little sun, in fact they grow better in a indirect lighting situation. Great for burns, and have heard of people taking and peeling the leaves and adding it to drinks for

stomach problems. I wouldn't be without it. I had a 2ND and 3rd degree burn on the back of my leg, Momma (she knows everything) After I was released from the burn center, she took over the dressings. She would debride the leg, and then use aloe on the burn. Fresh aloe, applied with gloves, Put a fresh dressing on my leg twice a day. Today, you can not even see a scar at all, no discoloration of the skin or anything. Try to grow some you will be glad you did. I use Zopliclone for sleeping and restless legs and I have them bad...I have to take medication just to take a flight....it's prescribed in 7.5mg and for about 2 yrs I only had to take 1/2 a pill, so it worked a longtime. Now I take 1 pill at bedtime, my legs NEVER wake me up anymore, it's awesome to get 8 hrs of sleep!! richlee7 <rnewton8@...> wrote: I got on trazodone for sleeping and so far it is helping. well the itching can be caused from your skin drying out from tx,, so make sure you put lots of good lotion on after showering and maybe shower every other day? I know,, yuk,, but your skin really does dry out , so make sure you are drinking enough water tooI found this product at the beauty supply house called "cacoon" and it stopped it itching almost immediately for me.. I have heard that others use oatmeal soap when they shower and do not use really really hot water as that dries your skin out too,,

If your itching gets really bad, your doc might RX some sort of antihistamine like benedryl or some other one. The fewer the meds, the better but you have to be able to stand it while on tx,, so if you need it, take it,,

I just loved the 'cacoon' lotion,, it really helped me a lot,,richlee7 <richlee7 > wrote:

My skin was horribly dry when I was on tx, I put lotion or baby oil on while I was still wet after a shower. This seems to work better, because the skin is actually dehydrated. I don't have a tub, but would fix a bucket of aveeno oatmeal and warm water and sponge it all over me while standing in the shower. THis helped also. I had a rash at every injection site that was horribly itchy. I also was told to get some Sarna lotion, with helps with the itch.
