: I also live in MI and am trying to figure out how we can

continue to pay for our children's meds/copays. Right now we have

Cole (3) our PIDer and Flynn (20 mo.) with asthma and possible PID.

The copays are beginning to kill us. Cole also needs Lactaid and

the GI wants him to start probiotics which are going to run us an

additional $40 min. per month.

When you speak of a special form of Medicaid is it Children's

Special Health Services? Where do I start to look for financial

aid? My husband has a decent salary. We are not wealthy, but

certainly are not in the poverty level. My kids qualify for WIC

currently, so I was wondering about other aid for the health end.

I am interested in any advice you may have based on your personal

experience. (PS- I have several friends who teach at the Charter

Schools and I want to say kudos to you for supporting those

wonderful educational opportunities for your kids!!!!)

possible Celiac)
