Guest guest
Hi , I don't know what glutaric aciduria is. Hypotonia is often related to oral apraxia because for example the tongue doesn't move all around which can prevent different sounds from being made. My son also has low tone which is reflected in the nasal sound. There are lots of things you can do to help build tone in his face. /message/5401 This post talks about early identification of language disorders. /message/5375 You mention a metabolic dr. and pediatrician. You may want to also see a developmental pediatrician Go to the apraxia.cc page and print out the signs of apraxia and show them to your doctors and SLP. Good luck. --- In @y..., " sassynlexnzac " <sassynlexnzac@y...> wrote: > My son zach is 17 months old and it is very apparent he has speech > delays when i have him w/ a kid around his age or younger.
