Caroline,

I'm sorry you are so sick! I don't have a real answer to your questions,

though the last time I was on antibiotic, they did stop my MTX. At the time

I thought it was to up my immune system, but it may have been because you

aren't supposed to be on DMARDs and antibiotics at the same time. Don't know

if this is any help whatsoever!

Also, I have been told that the prednisone can definitely make you feel your

pain less so you may be sicker than you realized.

Just wanted you to know that you may be physically sick, but not insane!!

Get well soon! Love,

Hello, I was recently taking an antibiotic called " Levoquine " (sp), any way

I was told that I could not have any dairy products (milk, cheese, etc.) for

two hours prior and two hours after taking this antibiotic. I assume it

makes the affects less effective. Just thought you might be interested.

Marilyn

PS: I also had to stop the Enbrel until after I finished the antibiotics

(10 days).
