Guest guest
This is probably not going to get any agreement here, and yet, I doubt this poor teacher meant harm. He or she probably just snapped for the moment. Stubborn defiance isn't fun, and the teachers haven't had the experience we parents have had to learn patience. I don't know about the rest of you, perhaps you're all better than I, and it took me years to achieve the patience I have now. How many teachers have training in patience with willfulness? We'd all like to be very righteous when someone slips and loses it. Hasn't anyone here lost it with their child? As my mother used to say: "There, but for the grace of God, go I."
