question about growing up with ocd

For those whose child was diagnosed young, has their OCD gotten worse over the

year, better, or about the same? My dd was dx at 4 1/2 and really has done

incredibly well. I just wonder if things will get worse/harder for her as she

gets older. I assume she will wax and wane with life situations, struggles,

joys, etc. But will OCD as a whole get more difficult for her to live with?

Or, since she does well now, could I possibly hope it will always be pretty easy

for her???? Am I dreaming?? :0)
