Would love some advice. (theripists respond also if possible)

Hi. I have an almost 8 year old girl who I am 99.9% sure has ocd. We

went to the Atlanta OCD conference and the professionals there think

she has it and needs to be rediagnosed. The person I took her to

before thought she didnt' have it because it comes and goes. Well now

I find out that ocd does come and go. I just knew in my heart that she

had it. Now I am trying to find a specialist to diagnose her. In my

area, I only found 2 people that she could see. One is a man, and he

is a specialist. He does erp/cbt. He costs way more than I can afford

unless I get some help. The other is a lady. She is not a specialist,

but does have a ton of ocd patients. She doesn't use erp/cbt that

much, only when she feels the client needs it or will respond well to

it. She says she does alot of art therapy and play therapy. She also

is a lot cheaper. She is a child specialist and the man isnt'. My

daughter is adament about not seeing a man and I am adament about her

geting the best help. Does anyone have any suggestions? The only other

option is to take her 4 hours away to someone else. Any suggestions?
