Advice please - Outdoor Play - swings, etc.

Hello everyone.

I'm seeking advice. I'm searching for outside play toys for my 9 yr

old. We have a metal swing set and grandma has a wood one, but he's

really too big for both of them. I am only finding things for little

kids or things that cost a fortune.

We are restructuring our backyard with a little kid section (Little

Tykes, Step 2, ride on toys, etc) for our younger kids. We also want

to set up a section of the yard for him but don't have anything yet to

put in it. Any help? I asked his input today and was informed that

he's stil terrified of any climbing stuff, so cargo nets, or rock walls

are out. Swings, slides are his favorites. Dad is a handyman so he

could probably make him a swing, but I wanted to see if anyone else had

any thoughts.
