: Thanks for the encouragement! It's nice to know that there

is another mom out there who has felt the same way. I truly am

happy that Cole's body is starting to do something on its own. All

I can pray is that he keeps improving and that someday he will

outgrow the IgA def as well!

Just out of curiosity, at what age did you find to be lactose

intolerant? Was it early on or was it around the time she outgrew

the def? What sort of testing did you have done for her for the

diagnosis?

I started Cole on Lactaid last week and his belly pain seems to be

better. He still has had several bouts of diarrhea. But I think it

may be helping somewhat. The GI called and wants me to put him on

Culturelle (probiotic) until our appt next month. My dh is picking

some up tonight and we'll give it a whirl! I think I should have

some actual testing done though for the lactose thing. If he truly

is lactose intolerant I think there will need to be some other diet

modifications we will need to make.
